Berube Banned One Game

(PR) Trenton’s J.S. Berube has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #569, Trenton at Reading, on March 9.

Berube was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule #43.5 – Checking from Behind, at 14:34 of the first period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Berube will miss Trenton’s game against Toledo on March 11.
