Nagy To Albany; Potacco Returns

I’ll have more when I get to the rink in a few hours, but Trenton forward Kory Nagy has been called up to AHL Albany.

In addition, Trenton has brought back forward Mike Potacco.

Stay tuned for a full write-up in tonight’s pre-game notes…

Makes total sense with Perkovich expected back this weekend to in Albany.

Plus they’re only 20 points out of a playoff spot.

Score! beerleauger within a half a tank of gas away. Perfect.

How are the T-Devils gonna win if they keep losing key guys???

  4. NBDevilsfan Says:

Good for you Kory. You’ve earned it with your play. People often do not see the value in a two-way forward. Some think it’s all about the goals. You’ve been awesome. Trenton will feel it and it’s really too bad for us.

  5. Titans04 Says:

If anybody deserves to be called up it’s Ginand he’s been the most consistant since day one. But he’s not a Devils guy. Like Combs he’ll probably run away as far as possible next year. If he played on any other team he would have been called up all over the Northeast.

  6. Ashmore Says:

I have nothing against Kory, he is not a part of the problem…but, in 75 games, I need more than 12 goals and a minus-7. The numbers are more no-way than two-way. For the kind of ice time forwards get in this league, I need more on both sides of the puck.

T04 – With gas prices headed upwards, you’ve gotta appreciate such a major investment for the weekend.

Also – according to the Albany TU Blog, the A-Devs director of ticket sales is no longer with the organization. He’s also been removed from the website.

  9. titans04 Says:

That Director clearly exceeded all expectations. Always easier to blame the peon right Chris?? Maybe they should advertise the position as Magician Wanted.

Funny WB is off tonght and they sent 4 guys down again to Wheeling just to try and help them tonight. Yet Albany pulled Young out just to practice in Albany rather than play in Reading – sums it all up right there.
