Potacco Released

The Trenton Devils have released forward Mike Potacco.  Potacco became expendable once Trevor Kell, Myles Stoesz and Darcy Zajac re-joined the team.

Potacco appeared in nine games for Trenton, collecting one assist and zero penalty minutes.  The 26-year-old Kinnelon, NJ native was enjoying his first professional action after playing his college hockey at UMass-Lowell from the 2005-06 to 2008-09 seasons.

In other Trenton-related news, the Greenville Road Warriors have signed former Trenton defenseman Luke Lucyk.  Lucyk, who wore the #36 that Potacco got switched to once Stoesz came, also recorded one assist for Trenton during his tenure here; which came during a 19-game stint last season.  Lucyk has played for the Johnstown Chiefs, Augusta Riverhawks (SPHL) and Gwinnett Gladiators since departing the capital city.
