Trenton Takes On Reading At 5 PM

As had been previously planned, I will not be at tonight’s game between the Reading Royals and Trenton Devils.  I do plan on covering the next three games for The Trentonian, however.

I would encourage anyone going to the game today to drive safely.  Look out your window to figure out why…but conditions could be pretty poor by the time the puck drops.

Not going. One accident today was enough. Really minor, but not pushing our luck….

  2. Ashmore Says:

You were in one? Yikes. Hope you’re all right.

If it makes anyone feel better, I’ll be shoveling my brains out all night…have to find time to write an ECHL.com piece too. Should be fun.

In the words of the woman who rear ended me ‘I hit the brakes but it didn’t stop’. Yeah, I noticed… looks like a busted lens on the bumper, no biggie. Just annoying. And this was early before it got too ugly. Will be shoveling later too.

We made it just… maybe 60 here with 5 mins left. Not looking forward to drive home!

Let us know how the game goes!

  6. Langhorne Devil Says:

Starters caruso, coutu,b miller,Hayes,ginand,berube….. Nagy and charleston in too

    About 100 here

  7. trentondevilsfan Says:

Good luck to them. Castonguay playing for reading?

  8. titans04 Says:

That smell of feces would be 26 completely crapping up the ice one play after another.

  9. titans04 Says:

Zancanaro still day to day going on 4 weeks after doing nothing specific in warm-ups way back when. More people here than I would have thought.

2-2 after one. Good goal from Hayes to kick the game off. Then 3 sloppy defensive plays. Caruso bailed them out of one of them. But a nice end to the period as berube and prough pound it in to tie it 2-2. (I thought it was berube but they gave it to jeff.

16,18,24 line is a mile ahead of everyone else. And as titans puts it, Leaderer is playing for reading! Or it seems that way.

  11. Langhorne Devil Says:

I was right, they have just changed the scoring on 2nd goal

  12. tdevils Says:

16, 18 and 24 are their three best players…that’s the thing. Not sure how great it is to have them all on the same line unless you play them 30 minutes a game.

  13. tdevils Says:

And nooooooooooooobody cared about those report cards haha. Lesson learned.

  14. Langhorne Devil Says:

The report cards were good mike. I have nothing good to say about the 2nd period. So I will say nothing!

  15. Ashmore Says:

If you went to the game…please, please, please drive home safely.

  16. Langhorrne Devil Says:

Made it home, just. despite the actions of some people driving like muppets

  17. titans04 Says:

    1870 – that’s a good one.

  18. Shtikl Says:

Glad youse made it home safely. I wanted to go to Wista today but they canceled their game, I know it’s hard to reschedule but really more teams should bow to the weather when there’s a blizzard.
