Wait…Are They Done?

All season long, the Trenton Devils have provided what has never amounted to more than false hope to their fans.  Is this just more of the same, or did this team save their best run for last?

Tony Zancanaro scored the game-winner 2:40 into overtime, propelling Trenton to a 3-2 win in Elmira in a game they never led.  Jeff Prough and Trevor Kell also scored for the Devils, and Dave Caruso made 22 saves in the victory.

With Toledo’s stunning 7-4 loss to Johnstown, the T-Devils have pulled to within three points of the eighth place Walleye.  Four games remain for Trenton, including three straight home games against the Jackals.  Unquestionably, they must win all three.  Their season ends…well, their regular season ends…on April 3rd in Reading.

The T-Devils host Elmira at 7 PM tomorrow and 4 PM on Sunday.  The final home game of the season is next Friday at 7 PM against, you guessed it, Elmira.

To answer your question – yes – they’re done.

The wife thinks Sunday is a great day to grace the SNuB with our presence. Clearly she’s drunker than I am.

Wow. Nice to have something to play for at least. Going to see four games in two days this weekend, soaking in all the live hockey feasible before the offseason hits.

Remember this team has the best coach in the ECHL, and he’s got his boys within 3 points. Tighten your seatbelts, folks.

the game in hand that Toledo has makes the 3 points a little more challenging.

She did Sweet Child O’ Mine which put Axl Rose to shame (even though I’m a huge fan of GnR) not the crappy verison that’s on You Tube from 4 or 5 years ago, no acoustic part, and the best part wasn’t the shorts and 5 inch heels I swear. Jordan took some pics Mike I’ll have to go through them.

Which I’m sure will just be a difficult chore for you haha. Thanks man. I covered a Jessica Simpson concert in 2004 back when she was…you know, still hot…and yes, that was quite fun. Was like five feet from her taking pictures, etc. Good times.
