Lucyk Expected To Play Against Devils Tomorrow

According to the Johnstown Chiefs, Luke Lucyk is expected to suit up for the Chiefs tomorrow and face his old team, the Trenton Devils at the Sun National Bank Center.

The former Fighting Irish defenseman registered just one assist during his T-Devils tenure, and was claimed by the Chiefs on waivers after being released by Trenton.  Brett Wilson, also claimed by Johnstown following his release, did not report and is still suspended by the team.

If anybody ever needed further proof of a league wide conspiracy against us, both Murray (2 games for elbowing) and Tomko (1 game supplimental discipline) have been suspended for no reason at all I’m sure.

    Now about that mirror.

  2. Bob Smyth Says:

Anybody know what the story was with Brett Wilson? How could we let a player of his talent go, and get nothing in return?

  3. titans04 Says:

Cause of Lowell’s infatuation with #22.

    Stupidity?

This will sweeten the mood for sure.

Following are the ECHL transactions for March 23, 2010:

    Trenton:
Add Justin Pender, D activated off IR, 3/22
Delete Gerald Coleman, G placed on the 3-day IR, 3/22
Delete Kevin Cormier, F transferred to the 7-day IR

Gotta wonder if any college kids are headed this way.

  8. titans04 Says:

doubt it, just two guys short because of the suspensions. so they had to ditch Coleman to add Pender.

  9. Shtikl Says:

Forget the bag, titans04. This is Coyote time.

Don’t know what happened to Coleman, if anything, but I think putting Coleman on IR frees them up to play Lerg, which must be the plan now.

Hah, imagine Luke getting the GWG for Jtown. About as likely as us getting the postseason but…

  12. chiarams Says:

Didn’t Scooter Smith do exactly that after he got cut from the Titans many moons ago?

  13. titans04 Says:

    yep.

Don’t laugh though the Chiefs have 1 goal in their last 9 periods of hockey. To say they’re overdue is a understatement.

  14. Trentondevilsfan Says:

Or, they may just have completely mailed it in by this point. Counterpoint is they’re on the road which might be more comfortable for them than being at home at this point….Luke will play hard, Lerg will be jacked for the game..beyond that I’ve no clue.
