Stingrays Add Bartlett

The South Carolina Stingrays have signed former Trenton Devils forward Scott Bartlett to a contract.

Bartlett joined the Devils last season after a successful collegiate run, but couldn’t replicate that at the pro level.  In 61 games with Trenton over the past two seasons, he scored seven goals and added just seven assists.  He dressed in only one playoff game against Elmira last season, and was ultimately released — alongside Matt Torti — a few months into this season.

There is no truth to the rumor that this was done to spite the Stingrays fan posting on here…

Maybe the Southern cooking will do him good.

Not so much. SC needs a goalie, baaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Connelly was good against the T-Devs at SBA, bad everywhere else.

What happened to their All-Star ‘tenders Todd Ford and Braden Holtby? SC lost 4 players to call-ups Friday 1/22, but they were F/D, not G…

  4. Shtikl Says:

Never mind. I see Ford’s in Austin and Holtby’s in ‘Toba. I don’t see the transactions but it would be easy for me to miss them.

Saw Holtby play for Hershey on Saturday…sincehedidntfreakingplaywhenSouthCarolinacamein…if you haven’t been to a game in Hershey yet, you should.

I debated making a separate post about my trip to Hershey. Everything an experience at a minor league hockey game should be.

  6. I want real hockey in Trenton Says:

Because the people in Hershey actually are interested in putting out a good product and know how to do so. Unlike the Lamoriellos.

  7. Shtikl Says:

Meh, lots of good hockey way closer. And I don’t bother to go watch that.
