Trenton Devils forward Jeff Prough made his mark on the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game, scoring a goal that tied the game at eight, and adding an assist in the American Conference’s 10-9 shootout win over the National Conference.

Prough, who wore number 43 in the game, first got on the scoresheet at 5:58 of the third period, getting a secondary assist on Brandon Buck’s goal.  Nearly five minutes later, Prough took a pass from Mitch Ganzak — who I don’t believe received a Christmas card from Dan Eves — and put it past Richard Bachman to tie the game at eight.

It was a bit of revenge on Bachman for Prough, considering Bachman stopped him the previous evening in the Breakaway Relay competition.

Prough and the Devils return to action on Friday night at the Sun National Bank Center against the Johnstown Chiefs.

I don’t have any sort of updates for you in regards to the statuses of Chris Poli or Dave Caruso, and I did check on both players.  Caruso was pulled after the first period of the last game in Reading for precautionary reasons, so his situation seems minor.  But with Poli, at this point, I’m not sure any injury with him is something you can take lightly.  This team flat out cannot lose him.
