Trentonian Game Story

Click here for last night’s game story.  I had a paragraph or two at the end about the timeout and empty-netter that got cut…but honestly, it was an empty netter.  Not too much I can really add anyway.

    Good writeup as usual Mike.

Thanks. Wish it didn’t get clipped…but it did look cool in the paper with that huge photo of Prough taking up a good part of the page.

Ah. Yes. Prough. So how is Prough getting to Ontario, CA, for the All-Star festivities? From Reading via broomstick?

At the AHL All-Star game in snow/slush-covered Portland tonight, there was a big story about a player from the Lake Erie Monsters (aka Cleveland) having a lot of airline travel problems — flight delays from Vancouver to Chicago, having to rent a car to drive from Chicago back to Cleveland last night, having more delays this morning between Cleveland and Portland (or was it Boston?), and arriving 3 hours before the Skills Competition with two right skates. That’s one trip he’ll never forget. 🙂 Hopefully Prough will have no trouble getting to and from the games, and will come back happy with a feather in his cap (don’t get cute, eh?).

B2 will be free for this event, I believe.

It’s too bad both the Skills and the Games start at 10PM. 😦

The ECHL ASG will be on the NHL network as well.
