When the 1994 New York Rangers won the Stanley Cup, that was the little slogan that the team came up with in the hopes that not only could they break the 54-year drought that the team had experienced, but that they could win the following season as well.
For the Trenton Devils, the Kelly Cup is little more than a pipedream at the moment.
But putting together a winning streak, even one as small as just two wins, is a step in the right direction. And that’s exactly what they’re looking to do tonight after an impressive 7-4 win against the Jackals last night.
No roster moves that I’ve been made privy too — which of course means nothing, based on my prior experiences here — or any other sort of news. If anything pops up, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Until then, I’m on Trentonian duty for the evening. Notes, quotes and all the rest after the game.
UPDATE: Michael Teslak will start for Wheeling.
