Sunday’s Game Story

You can read the gamer in the Trentonian here

It got tweaked a tiny, tiny bit…but the original played a little more towards Trenton never having the lead in the game, etc.  That’s why the lead is as it is.

    This is getting familiar…
Sundays…watching the T-Devils trail throughout the game, stage a comeback to tie and then lose in OT or a shootout….
Is it me, or does the “A” line keep changing ??
Keep Zancanaro, Prough, and ( pick one ) on a line and let them PLAY together…same goes for the other lines…I thought Poli looked good…Combs…etc…
No one I can single out for extremely bad play….
The T-Devils really looked good in the third period…more agressive forechecking etc….they’ve got to play with more intensity in the first period and not start out in a 2-0 hole all the time…

Tony brings next to nothing on the offensive side of the puck no need to bog Prough down with a guy like that. Kunes was brutal on our last pp repeatedly mis-handled the puck at the line, Leaderers matador defense on the 3rd Reading goal was equally as bad. Same old story at this point, there is something seriously flawed about this bunch with a small handful of exceptions.

The defense was awful on that third goal, but Coach saw nothing he didn’t like. Stellar. The second Trenton goal was a fluke, but the third was a nice play. Too bad they can’t do that early on. Very frustrating.

Coach must be setting the bar pretty low these days, like on the ground at this point.

I was there last night too…. after reading some of the older posts, i was expecting a lot of chatter from the Reading fans there. But i have to say, they were respectful and kept their chatter to cheering for their own team.

One note: Had some T-Devs fan in my section who screamed out “SUCKS” every time they announced a player for Reading. I had to explain to my son what poor sportsmanship was and used that knucklehead as an example. 🙂

Oh dear. Don’t take your kid to an NHL game in Newark, then. When the Devils score there, they play that awful Gary Glitter song and shout, “Hey! You SUCK!” at the visiting team’s goalie. I sure hope they don’t do that when the L-Devils are in Newark January 6th, it’s really shameful.

The ushers looking the other way on the sarcastic “It’s a power play goal! F–k you, Sam Rosen!” chant some sections do is also enjoyable. But God forbid I try to move to one of the 8,000 empty seats they have sometimes. Interesting mentality there.
