Mondou To Lowell, Coleman Actually Exists

The Benoit Mondou era appears to be over in Trenton, as his latest stint has lasted just five games.

The former Bruins draft choice has been summoned back to Lowell, after he accumulated a grand total of zero points in the ECHL.  He’s also got a 0-0-0 line in eight games in the AHL this season as well.

In other news, former Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Gerald Coleman has now officially been dealt to Trenton.

The 23-year-old was 2-1-1 in four games with the Phoenix Roadrunners this season, posting an impressive 1.50 GAA and .950 save percentage.

He also played in three games for the AHL’s Worcester Sharks, going 0-2-0 in three games with a 3.23 GAA and .854 save percentage.

Coleman appeared in two games for Tampa Bay during the 2005-06 season, appearing in relief of John Grahame both times.  He didn’t factor in the decision in a November 11, 2005 against the Atlanta Thrashers, but picked up an overtime loss in a March 20, 2006 game against the Florida Panthers.

He is expected to practice this week, and is likely to play in at least one of the two home games this weekend at SBA.
