The Johnstown Chiefs received four players yesterday, including three forwards and a defenseman.

D Jon Landry was assigned to the club from Columbus, with whom he signed as a free agent in March of 2007.

The former Holy Cross standout had two goals and ten assists in 18 games for Elmira last season before being injured in the Jackals well-documented bus crash.

Meanwhile, AHL Syracuse sent the Chiefs F Bryan McGregor and F Jereme Tendler, while AHL Chicago sent them F Matt Robinson.

McGregor scored 14 goals last season for the Pensacola Ice Pilots in his first professional season, adding 17 assists along the way.

Tendler attended American International College and scored a goal in a brief three-game stint with the IHL’s Port Huron IceHawks in his professional debut last year.

As for Robinson, his last two seasons have been spent with the ECHL’s Alaska Aces, where he’s scored 40 goals in 117 games.
