I already explained why I hold Nagy to a higher standard. Stats aside, he hasn’t been one of the better players on the team. Period.

The only thing I dislike more than the Devils are the Flyers but would much rather have had the Phantoms here. The Flyers dropped the ball without a doubt, the fact that they asked the Devils if they were interested in moving out so that the Phantoms could slide in there indicates that was their intention all along. They gambled the Bermans would fold the team and they would just slide inthere – they lost, we lost. So in comes Lou on his white horse blows smoke up everybody’s as* about painting the town red just how much of an effort has he made in doing that other than painting the lockerroom walls and installing new carpet. Talking about just how convenient the location is “only a short train ride from Newark” how the NHLplayers would make appearances at SBA because it was so convenient. Hows that worked out? I do give him credit for tying the hands of the T-Devils front office behind their back and eliminating every possible expense dollar they can.

They have done a terriifc job at the NHL level without a doubt, they management of their minor league franchises is pathetic equal to their minor league on ice success over the past decade.

Thanks for the education on there’s more to hockey Bird, hopefully it made you feel better. And I’ve stated more than a few times his offensive numbers in the past have been next to nill but in a three line league if one of your “best” players needs a small miracle to find the back of the net to some of us it’s a problem. This team is boring enough and offensively challenged on most nights to begin with. No chance he’s going to Lowell for a wake up call right? The only NHL contracted player we had (outside of Stoesz and Cormier) was a 3rd line center on a pretty poor team, wonderful.

Enjoying everything the wonderful org has done for Trenton? Pass the koolaid.

Most of us are fans of Trenton hockey. The way the Devils have, ahem, “furthered” the Trenton market, I’d be hard pressed to root for the big club if they were playing Al Qaeda.
