What was Chaz telling them? How to be a whiny baby? The whole team could impart that lesson especially the jackass coach. Seriously, not enough bad things can happen to them.

No suspensions yet, does that mean the league wholeheartedly endorses this kind of game?

In general, I agree with Off-Ice 21 (above) about Johnson, but think of how good he could be if he kept his mouth shut and just played. He'd be up in the AHL and would stay there - he's got size, speed, strength, and intelligence about the game. But, undisciplined players make coaches nervous, as they don't know when such players might snap and cost their team a game - I've seen Johnson do this. Sometimes his penalties/behavior are selfish, and his team is hurt by his actions.

Let's see we had kneeing, spearing, 3rd man in, elbowing to the face, misconducts and endless whining. They're a f*ucking disgrace. Stoesz and the others can say they like it, but when they're out to injure guys when you least expect it - Zancanaro being kneed a perfect example, that's bullshit. Even Tifu one of the most skilled but babys ass soft now just can't keep his mouth shut while standing on the bench. Also classy to fake like they were going to go after Coleman when the were being sent off. Biggest regular season win for me that I can remember just because of the way they play and whine. Fitzpatrick and Proulx are the worst of the bunch which is quite an accomplishment.

Great work as always Mike - it's greatly appreciated. Congrats to Stoesz for having such a good all around game too. Always glad to get two points from that whining bunch of clams.

Mike, you are 125% correct about Chaz. I've often said on numerous occasions that if I were coaching a team, he would be my FIRST choice. He is a pure example of a well rounded player. He skates hard, makes things happen down low, and has a good release. Not to mention he hits, and fights. He is a bit of a hot head at times, but I think it's a case of maturity and learning how to use it. To hear that audio of Myles saying he wishes he was like Chaz surprised the hell out of me. I thought they were enemies until the day they die. But it just goes to show that Myles has RESPECT for Chaz. He may not like what he does all the time (Chaz is so saint) but he appreciates his accomplishments as a well rounded player, a dying brred in hockey today. Think of Chaz as a Claude Lemieux. The guy was pest throughout his career, but scored as well. He even won the Conn Smythe Trophy for crying out loud. Chaz deserves more credit then he gets from fans around the league. Should be good one today eh? Third game in three nights against the Jackals.. should be interesting.. enjoy!

Stupidity? Anyway, it wasn't "Lowell", it was Lou. Not sure if he was gambling that nobody would claim Leach, and hadn't been paying attention to the other NHL teams' IR lists, or if he actually wanted to give Leach a chance to play for someone else -- in which case, why not trade him for at least a bag of pucks? Trenton or Lowell could have used another player. But he's gone. Good luck, Leach, have a great season!

Plus Lowell lost McAmmond Friday, he just signed an NHL contract and would have to clear waivers if Lou wanted to send him back to Lowell. So there went one center.

But McAmmond has a "cold" so Lou called up another center, Tim Sestito, to play until (a) Elias is feeling better, (b) McAmmond establishes himself as healthy and NHL-ready again, and (c) Pelley wakes up and solidifies his lock on the team.

Mills and Castonguay were last night's scratches, good to have Millsy back if he's healthy but if he's not, listen for the vacuum sound.

Ain't it fun being the Devils' affiliates?

BTW, check out Elmira's game story about the T-Devils' thrilling win. They spoiled Elmira's shot at tying an ECHL winning streak record, so give 'em a standing ovation and let 'em know you're proud of 'em!

And I was wrong, you should go watch the T-Devils tonight. Hosting the same Jackals, but with Chaz back on the ice and meaner than ever, I'm sure. Anyway, you should go and buy a raffle ticket, the big prize is a Jim Henkel Titans sweater.
