You’re looking for something more specific than “don’t lose” here?
Sure.
Any Reading Royals point eliminates the Trenton Devils.
Reading must lose in regulation to both Wheeling and Trenton, and Trenton must first beat Elmira and then, obviously, Reading.
Trenton hosts Elmira at 7 PM on Friday night, Reading has to go to Wheeling for a 7:30 game on Friday.
Trenton then has to go to Reading for a 7 PM game on Saturday night…if Trenton beats the Jackals and the Nailers beat the Royals in regulation, Saturday night’s game amounts to a play-in game. Again, Trenton MUST win that game in regulation if it gets that far.

OT – looks like Wheeling will indeed play games in johnstown next year. Solid backdoor pounding to the Nailers fans.

What’s the point? Moving games from a decent market to one that’s proven to be inadequate…way to piss off your fanbase.

Is Wheeling ownership trying to get a new arena?

As of right now Wheeling doesn’t even have a goalie on the roster to play tonights game with both Teslak and Berkhol called up to the phantoms. How cool is that?
April 2, 2010 at 11:13 am
I guess Teslak maybe sent back in time who knows?

Wow, that would be rather unfortunate.

That would really suck to have them lacking a legit goalie in a game we need them to win.
Just 2 points from that lost weekend down south would’ve made a huge difference.

Berkhoel is Penguins property…that doesn’t make sense.

hey buddy don’t shoot the messenger, I agree it doesn’t make sense.

According to echl’s transaction list (as reliable as it isn’t) no transactions for wheeling today.

I’m confused, nothing new there. Guess we’ll have to wait for that game to start to see who’s there

Berkhoel in goal for wheeling.
