The T-Devils held their postseason meetings and cleaned out their lockers…a few of the players will be staying around for a little while, while others are already leaving and heading home.
Got to talk to Gerald Coleman and get some clarification about what his situation was. According to him — and this certainly sounds plausible — he got run by Chaz Johnson in Game 1 and may have suffered a concussion. He said he was getting a lot of headaches and it was “almost a concussion.”
He said he felt the symptoms before Game 4, told head coach Rick Kowalsky and the change was made to go to Jeff Frazee.
I’ll add all the Game 7 postgame stuff as well as some of those alumni features as things drag on in the off-season…keep checking back, I’ll keep updating this for as long as I’m going to do it. I’m obviously undecided on a 2009-10 return as of yet…

Hope you come back, without your voice we sort of “lost.” Hell, I’ throw you some $$$ to keep doing this.

Hope you do this again next year Mike. Thanks for a great season regardless, and look forward to the remaining updates….

Cyclones lead the series 3 games to 0 after tonight. Is that a good thing?

Wheels appear to be off for Elmira, game two when they blew the big lead and then lost in OT probably finished them off. Lots of fingers being pointed at Sweeney the ever clueless referee, imo that’s pretty lane, that guy always blows both ways. Pretty typical of Martinson to point in that direction but it would seem like common sense when you complain about every single call against you your not going to get the benefit of the doubt. Last nights game wasn’t anywhere near as close as the score would indicate and in the last minute they even failed at trying to get a line brawl going with Sgroi attepmting to get at the goalie, Nie who’s clearly the #2 for Cincy.
Next series could be pretty interesting, they’ll play the winner of Fl/SC. Neverblades always close to winning it all but have always come up short as well. IMO it’s ain’t gonna matter a whole bunch Alaska coming out of the other side should walk away with the cup .
