Not only does the outcome of this game determine Trenton or Elmira’s opponent (duh), it also determines who would have home ice in the second round.
Cincinnati is the 1 seed, Wheeling is the 4. A Cincinnati win would give them home ice…a Wheeling win would give Elmira or Trenton home ice.
It’s very fitting that both playoff series in this division are going seven games considering how tight the regular season was.

Listening to Cinncy. I’ve listened to Ciccny before and their obnoxious and ignorant homer Joe Hamel (or is it Hamilton?) Anyway, it’s OT and he’s announcing that tix ill be on sale after the win, like it’s a lock. Love to see Wheeling shove it to him, but I’d love the T Devs to do it.

It’s just a read…so he may just be reading something off of a card.
He certainly does make it sound exciting, though…

John Hamel’s a homer, but quite exciting… even when the Nailers have their chances. I’m biased but I’ll take our PBP guy Paul Roper any day.

Roper is much better and half his age. Well, Cinncy won so we’ll see what happens.
