The New Jersey Devils have recalled Jeff Frazee from Trenton on an emergency basis. Anthony Felice has been added to Trenton on an emergency basis.
Also, defenseman Gord Burnett has been acquired from Elmira. There are always interesting ways of finding things out in this business, and this was no different, as I actually ended up riding the elevator with Burnett on the way into the arena.
He told me he found he’d been traded this morning, and that things had been pretty hectic for him. From doing a little reading on him, it sounds like he’s a tough guy, so he should at least be interesting to watch.
Dan McGoff apparently went down with an undisclosed injury last night, hence the need for Burnett.
